the tree trunk on the right was not in my original composition idea. I had made a mistake when I painted the clock and some black colour got on that area. I was crying and cursing like hell… Then I just painted the tree trunk over it… and today I think that it looks much better with it there…  Daily DeviationGiven 2006-02-2821st Century Dream by ~RainerKalwitz is a kind of fever dream in muted color. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. originally they had the boy on the swing with a dice as a head... but I thought that this would look totally stupid... so I painted the dices in the sky, to give it an even more surreal feeling...
